Another Reason I'm Looking Forward To An Empty Nest

Damn, I can't watch anything on TV anymore! A couple episodes of The Tudors and Aidan's downstairs trying to cut the head off of his teddy bear, talking about "I don't know why they do this but...". Although, to be fair, he did this without any help from my TV viewing habits, thankyouverymuch.

I had the same problem when I was trying to catch up on the Dexter series. Everytime someone got bloody or naked, in walks a little boy and I had to shut the tv off.

My kids are probably going to be traumatized by the things they see on TV.

Yay for the empty nest! Not only do I get to watch what I want, we now have 2 TVs so I don't even have to deal with Hubby's stupid choices!
But I have never watched TV in another room, I'm always on here & listening to his shows. Ha!

ROFLMBO!!! This is why I watch stuff like that (i.e. Californication) after they are all in bed, while in my own bed, with my husband shoring... and everytime there is boobage... I yell "OMG YOU ARE MISSING IT" ... he doesn't care. LOL

OK, Aidan is going to need some SERIOUS therapy, I hope you are saving money for that, not a college fund! :-)
We have an empty nest, and 3 TVs with 3 DVRs (yes, my name is Lorie and I am a television addict... now you all respond, Hello Lorie).
I watch what I like, whenever I like because hubby and I like some of the same shows, so when he is awake we watch those, then when he falls asleep, I just watch whatever I want... If there is boobage (as MoonNStar said-TeeHee) I wake him up and he likes that.
