Talk About Procrastination

Okay all ye faithful readers, gimme your best stocking stuffer ideas for your husbands and small kids. And yes, I'm aware it's Christmas Eve Eve and I don't have stocking stuffers. I don't even have sockings to tell you the truth. I can't find them. Don't judge, just give me some assistance.

I have to get our stocking stuffers tomorrow morning when hubby gets paid! LOL...

Our stockings aren't up this year, and NOT because I don't know where they are...... Cal just pointed out the fact that they weren't up. They'll go up tomorrow Cal - sheesh!

Stocking Stuffer Ideas...

I get Cal and Hubby a bunch of Axe travel stuff and throw it in their stockings... body spray, body wash, shampoo, deodorant ... LOL.. Small game stuff, deck of cards, that sort of thing .. poker chips... I have (in the past) gotten hubby some message lotions or K-Y Intense stuff for the bedroom (shhhhh) and shoved that in there.

The littles ... well, hot wheels are great, fun stupid stuff you wouldn't normally get them through the year, plastic animals, army guys.. Playdoh, Little People stuff... chapstick for the older ones, flashlights, and tooth brushes & tooth paste, fun bath stuff ...

Each year they get a couple candy items because they don't normally get that stuff through the year very often so it's a big treat to find stuff like that.

Usually I go to the dollar store to get stuff ... but I am not sure if they are even open tomorrow.

I have a MOUNTAIN of gifts on my bed I still have to wrap.

Yeah - so tomorrow we're going to finish our shopping.... how sad sad sad...

Santa is giving me ground Starbucks coffee, hubby chocolate truffles, kids are getting spinning character toothbrushes, candy, B Tech Decks, Girls Webkinz. I hope it all fits!

Don't worry I haven't taken the kids to see Santa and I am going to try tomorrow. I already know it is a bad idea! I am drinking extra wine tonight to prepare.

Okay I was just in the same boat about an hour or so ago....while I had some stuff....it just wasn't filling the stocking out like I wanted...

So I ran to the dollar store and got a bunch of fun goodies...silly string (ya I am asking for trouble) bouncey ball....candy...(ya asking for more trouble)....to add to the Yu-gi-oh cards, books, card games and mittens that I already had....

Hope that helps a bit....I am sure you can find something....good luck

Everyone is getting underwear. Yes, I plan on torturing the boys for years to come by putting undies in their stockings.
Jared is getting smoked tobasco sauce that he loves.
The boys are getting hot wheels cars, the little one is getting gold fish and the eldest is getting gum.
I might have a few other things but I forget.

Cotton candy, bubble wrap and marshmallows. That ought to make them look really full, non?

I know you're in a small town, but is there a 24-hour anything? Even a grocery store that's open early? If you can't find everyone's stockings, get socks for everyone and tell them you're getting back to the roots of the tradition. Then fill the socks with candy from the candy aisle. Really, you weren't planning on them eating anything healthy for the next few days anyway, were you? Oh, all right then, buy some oranges and stick in there and tell them about kids in the Great Depression who only got a stick of candy and an orange and were happy with it! If you say it with a psychotic, end-of-my-rope glint in your eye they will take it and run.

I usually put lots of candy in the boys stockings - they ALWAYS get those gold chocolate coins, plus chapstick, and then I always put a toothbrush in (gotta change every 3 months anyway, so it helps me remember when - they get one in their Easter Basket, too), along with some toothpast and dental floss. I also wrap up either 4 quarters or a gold dollar. Everyone (Hubs included gets a marshmallow & chocolate covered Santa, and a Reeses penut butter something. Hubby gets a CD, and the kids get Nintendo DS games.
I know it's too late for this year, but maybe these hints will help for next year... I was WAY too busy STILL wrapping myself to answer emails and blogs last night... SORRY!

I am sorry to say that we are not "stocking" stuffers here. Although candy, little toys and fruit come to mind. Sorry not much help and pretty darn late for me to chime in anyway.
