Workin' For Mama

Aidan to me (at the grocery store) - "Mama, do we have any lemonade?"

"No, I don't think so but we can get some."

"Okay, yeah, I need some lemonade. I'm gonna have a Lemonade Stand and sell a whole bunch of lemonade so we can pay for that big, expensive house you want, Mama."

"You'll have to sell a lot of lemonade to pay for a house."

"I told you I know! The house you want is really expensive so I've got a lot of work to do. And Daddys got to work, too, to buy you an expensive house."

"Oh, your Daddy would loooove to hear this conversation."
That's right folks, the perfect house has landed in our laps and things are just falling into place. We are moving in 2 weeks! Actually, 10 days. On March 20th we load up and say good bye to Arkansas. Which I couldn't possibly care less about. My friends on the other hand.. I have no desire to say goodbye to them. But such is life. I suppose another miracle could happen and I might make some new friends.

Wow, that's awesome for you and Matt! I know you've been missing the sexy beast like crazy! So the house in Springdale sold and all is good? Are you making a last minute trip to the life-sucking town of our high school existence before then?

WOW! Congrats on the house. I know it can be hard to pick up and move, but you deserve a great place to call home!

Moving away from AR, huh? Where are you guys moving? I don't care about AR, either. Scott and I want to move back to Texas one of these days. We both were born and raised in Texas, and have only lived in AR since 2005. We don't love it. LOL.

Of COURSE you'll make new friends!!! You'll put yourself out there again and make it happen. Nebraska people are really nice if I do say so myself :)

Good luck with the move! Good thing you've got Aidan to look after things! Sounds like an entrepreneur in the making! (or at least a man who knows what to say to a lady!)

With a blog like this? How could you not take a few of us with you? Wish Aiden luck on that lemonade stand. I think he might do better when it warms up but who knows. Maybe getting out there ahead of the market will work. Let me know cause I could use some new landscaping.

Good luck with the move. I hope it goes smoothly.

Most of my family lives in AR so I spend a week or two there every year (near Fort Smith).

Awesome news about the house! And how sweet that Aidan wants to help with his lemonade stand. He wants to make his Mommy happy. :)

I forgot to tell you that Aidan informed me he was also using some of his cold hard cash to purchase a ladder for his bedroom in the 'spensive house because he's going to have a really tall bed there. :)

I know what you mean! I don't mind leaving AR. But i've been systematically trying to convince all my friends to move to SD! You too! Some times I feel like a siren... man I miss your crazy ass!
